What is integrative psychotherapy?
While Western medicine has created and maintained a false binary of physical vs mental health issues or somatic vs. psychological symptoms, integrative psychotherapy acknowledges that everything is both psychological and somatic all at once. My therapy style integrates complementary and functional approaches such as somatic exercises, dietary and nutrition interventions, interdisciplinary collaboration, social justice theory, queer theory, and strong emphasis on the healing relationship with traditional Adlerian psychotherapy concepts of social interest, feelings of inferiority, cooperation, purposeful behaviors, and mistaken beliefs. According to Alfred Adler, when we feel encouraged, we feel capable and appreciated and will generally act in a connected and cooperative way. When we are discouraged, we may act in unhealthy ways by competing, withdrawing, or giving up. It is in finding ways of expressing and accepting encouragement, respect, and social interest that help us feel fulfilled and optimistic.
Whether you are struggling to find balance in your daily life and relationships, going through a major transition, or working through past trauma, I am excited to virtually meet and support you on this journey.

Individual Therapy
1-on-1 telehealth psychotherapy weekly sessions (60 minutes) for adults and teens (13+) which include a brief consultation on my background, current issues, and goals then an initial integrative mental health evaluation, goal setting, and accompanying psychotherapy sessions.
-
Parent consultations
1-on-1 consultation (60 minutes) for a parent, teacher, or other caregivers on current issues with their child or student. This is a good fit for adults who are looking for a brief meeting and strategies to address their child’s emotional or behavioral issues at home or in school. Follow-up consultations or therapy may likely be part of the recommendations.
-
Relational Therapy
Coming soon!
Telehealth therapy sessions (60 minutes) for you + your significant other, friend, or family member including a couples intake evaluation reviewing current issues, relational patterns, family upbringings, attachment styles, and communication patterns. While relational therapy benefits the individual, this is not a replacement for individual therapy but is focused on addressing and improving the relational unit to better each individual.
